Put Your Hot Dogs Where Your Mouth Is

Sometimes, I find myself in a position where I have to put my money where my mouth is. ...Or my mouth where the money is... or something like that. 
​This time I promised that if we raised $1000 for clean water, I'd go do a hot dog eating practice at the Grand Canyon. 

Well, we raised $1,181 for charity:water.  ​So here it is...

This year has been filled with new foods, new faces, and new firsts. As I steamroll through my 5th year on the competitive eating circuit, I'll try to take pictures and post blogs along the journey.

Current Fundraising Efforts

I've set off on the Road to Coney, but all I can think about is the fact that women and children set of on a different kind of road every day - a road that is far more arduous - the road for water. At the end of that road, they might find clean water.. but it's far more likely that they'll find dirty, contaminated water that will likely make their families sick. But it's all they have. 
 -- And we can change that...
